A single bulb in the center of the ceiling is why so many garages feel dark and unsafe. Modern LED layouts use multiple fixtures to wash walls and work surfaces evenly.

For parking-only garages, a simple grid of slim LED shop lights is often enough. For workshops, add task lighting over benches and brighter fixtures near tool walls.

Color temperature matters: around 4000K–5000K reads clean and “daylight” without feeling sterile. Pair lighting with a light-colored floor coating to bounce light and reduce the number of fixtures you need.

We design lighting as part of full makeovers so circuits, storage, and finishes work together — not as an afterthought bolted on later.

Key takeaways

  • Multiple LEDs beat one bright bulb for even coverage
  • Task lighting belongs over benches and detail work
  • Light floors + good LEDs make the room feel larger
